Is the editor actually free?

Yes. Themes, watermarks, and PNG, WebP, SVG, clipboard, and video export work in the browser with no account. Sign-in is only for checkout and saved snippets.

What does $19 Lifetime Pro unlock?

Cloud snippets, 3x and 4x export, social size presets, animated SVG, custom gradients, and the Pro theme pack. One payment. No subscription.

How does GitHub sign-in work?

Snipshot uses GitHub OAuth. We store your email, name, and avatar so checkout and saved snippets can attach to your account. We never see your GitHub password.

How do share links work?

The editor writes your code and settings into the URL hash. Copy the address bar, or use Copy link in Export. Hash fragments are not sent to our servers.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled case-by-case. Open an issue on the GitHub repository if checkout failed or Pro did not unlock after a successful payment.
